Key Business
Skills and On-the-job Behaviors
To be successful
within its operating culture, Accuride believes that its employees
should exhibit certain key business skills and on-the-job behaviors.
They are:
- Using sound judgement and decision making
- Focusing on the customer
- Knowing the business
- Driving for results
- Investing in people
- Being innovative
- Acting with integrity
- Fostering teamwork
- Creating ownership
- Fostering open communication
- Being flexible and adaptive
- Driving continuous improvement
We all know that good intentions alone do not pave the road to success.
That is why even the smallest path at Accuride begins with solid research
and carefully planned strategies.
Manufacturing quality ... Accuride was the first in the commercial
vehicle wheel industry to achieve QS9000 certification.
Product quality
... The finest testing facilities in North America, and possibly
the world are housed at Accurides steel wheel facility in
Henderson. This assures that Accurides products will meet
or exceed market and customer standards.
Product development
quality ... IDEA 2000 is a technology that integrates customer demand
and engineering technology to dramatically decrease our customer
response time. It is a perceived impossibility that we are making
possible.
Information
technology quality ... Accuride realizes that state-of-the-art information
technology equipment is vital in todays business environment.
All of Accurides facilities are linked via a wide area network
and the intranet.
