Tubeless Products
Accuride produces more medium / heavy truck steel wheels than any other manufacturer in North America. Our advanced designed disc wheels are standard products at all major truck and most major trailer OEMs. Tubeless disc wheels offer optimal strength and are lightweight, applicable for any load rating in the industry. Multiple coatings choices (e-coat or powder), allow you to customize the coating for a specific color and particular road or weather condition. Tubeless disc wheels are also available in Heavy Duty versions for special applications.
Designed for drive axle and trailer applications, the new powder top-coated Styled Steel Wheels provide the styled look of aluminum at an affordable price. Given that the new Styled Steel Wheels are highly corrosion resistant, this allows for lower operating and refurbishing costs, thus reduced downtime due to lower maintenance. The new Styled Steel Wheel is available as a hub-piloted mounting application in both the 22.5" and 24.5" wheel sizes. Stud-piloted versions are due to be released in the near future.
Accuride Corporation has available a wide range of stud-piloted and hub-piloted, 8-hole and 10-hole disc wheel applications for various regions of the world. World Wheels meet ISO and European OEM mounting standards, and they are used regionally in other markets outside of North America. Included in this group are versions of steel and aluminum wheels for air disc brake applications, currently under development and expected to be released soon. In addition to ISO mounts, Accuride has a limited line of medium / heavy disc wheels for Asian regional markets which accommodate most of the medium and heavy truck classifications.
Duplex® Wide-Base Steel Wheels
Accuride Corporation manufacturers a complete line of steel wide-based DUPLEX® disc wheels for the commercial truck industry. DUPLEX® disc wheels are available in hub-piloted, stud-piloted, and Heavy Duty stud-piloted mounting styles as well as demountable rim assemblies. Accuride provides a full range of DUPLEX® wheels to fit almost any "wide-based tire" application.
Accuride supplies select high quality multi-piece tube-type disc wheel products for the medium / heavy commercial truck industry. The tube-type disc wheels are available in both hub-piloted and stud-piloted mounting styles to meet or exceed customer requirements.
The use of high-strength, low-alloy steel coupled with engineering design and process allows Accuride to offer a
lightweight steel wheel featuring the economy and strength of a standard steel wheel and weight similar to an
aluminum wheel. When replacing a competitor’s standard steel wheel, weighing 82 pounds, Accuride’s
Lightweight Steel Wheel, weighing 66 pounds, would reduce overall truck and trailer weight by 288 pounds.
The wheel’s 10 hand hole design which is similar to the industry standard aluminum, allows it to be used
to replace an aluminum wheel as an inner dual, with no appearance change and at a significant cost savings.
The wheel is available for standard hub-mount applications and is Powder Topcoated in standard white, gray,
or black with custom colors available.
Accu-Lite™ Steel Wheels
As a leader in wheel technology, Accuride Wheels has raised the standard of steel wheels by lowering the weight of
its two and five hand hole extra service wheels (ESW). Accuride designed Accu-Lite Steel Wheels to provide solutions
to the medium and heavy truck industry.
As new emission standards are resulting in weight being added to vehicles, Accuride developed Accu-Lite Steel Wheels
to counterbalance the added weight. Accu-Lite Steel Wheels are actually 8 pounds lighter than their standard two and
five hand hole predecessors. That translates to a potential savings of 144 pounds for tractor / trailer combinations.
And, it looks exactly the same as Accuride's current industry standard two and five hand hole design.
